solar-guide.ch is an information portal for the solar and photovoltaic industry in Switzerland. In addition, referral and comparison services are offered between interested parties and photovoltaic providers.
Interested parties can submit requests for services and products on solar-guide.ch. solar-guide.ch then selects suitable providers (“partners”) based on the interested party’s request and forwards the contact details of the interested parties to the partners.
The following terms of use and general terms and conditions (“GTC”) apply to the contractual relationship between solar-guide.ch and the interested parties.
1. Scope
1.1. Only the following general terms and conditions in the version valid at the time of the interested party’s request apply. Deviating terms from interested parties or partners are not recognised. A failure to object to third-party terms and conditions does not constitute consent.
2. Submission of requests
2.1. If an interested party submits a request via solar-guide.ch for a service or product, a contract is formed for arranging up to three quotes from partners of solar-guide.ch. The request is free of charge and non-binding for the interested party. Any commissions for arranging quotes are borne by the partners of solar-guide.ch.
2.2. After submitting the request, depending on the region and the product, 1) the interested party is contacted either by a product advisor from solar-guide.ch by phone or by e-mail, or 2) the request is forwarded directly to a partner.
2.3. Until the form is submitted, interested parties can change the details of their request at any time or cancel the process completely.
3. Receipt of quotes
3.1. After the request from the interested party has been forwarded by solar-guide.ch, the partner or partners contact the interested party by phone or email. Before the interested party receives a quote, the partner may request further information in the event of need. This includes, for example, arranging an appointment on site. This is to ensure that the interested party only receives quotes that are individually tailored to their needs.
3.2. We ensure through various measures that interested parties receive quotes from up to three partners in a timely manner. How quickly quotes are available to the interested party depends on 1) the complexity of the requested product or service, 2) the region of the interested party, and 3) the workload of the respective partners.
3.3. The interested party only receives quotes from partners who are members of the solar-guide.ch partner network. Partners of solar-guide.ch commit to complying with all relevant guidelines from the federal government, cantons and associations. However, solar-guide.ch cannot guarantee the suitability of each partner in individual cases. Interested parties must therefore check the suitability of the partner in the same way they would when obtaining quotes without solar-guide.ch.
3.4. After the interested party has received the quotes, they decide for themselves whether and from which partner a quote is accepted. solar-guide.ch is neither involved as a contracting party nor does solar-guide.ch act as a representative or vicarious agent of the contracting parties.
3.5. If an interested party has not yet received three quotes or wishes to receive further quotes, solar-guide.ch will, in such cases, try to suggest additional partners to the interested party for preparing a quote. The interested party can inform solar-guide.ch at any time that no further quotes are desired (revocation).
4. Data protection
4.1. The personal data of the interested party according to the form will be forwarded exclusively to partners of solar-guide.ch. The interested party consents to this by sending the request. No transfer of data to other third parties will take place.
4.2. The collection, processing and storage of data is carried out exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the FADP (Switzerland) and the GDPR (EU). You can find the privacy policy here.
5. Referral process and requirements
5.1. The referral service of solar-guide.ch is free of charge for interested parties. In return, solar-guide.ch may ask interested parties to rate the service of the selected partner and to state whether a contract has been concluded.
5.2. The services of solar-guide.ch can be used by all natural and legal persons domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, provided they have full legal capacity. Natural persons who are not yet of age are not permitted to submit requests. If an interested party submits a request on behalf of a legal entity, they warrant that they have the authority to represent said legal entity.
6. Limitations of service
6.1. solar-guide.ch cannot guarantee that one or more suitable partners will be found for every request by interested parties. Furthermore, partners may also refuse to provide quotes. solar-guide.ch does not owe interested parties the conclusion of a contract, the submission of quotes, or the execution of a contract by a partner.
7. Revocation
7.1. Interested parties can revoke their request at any time. To do so, interested parties can contact the email address anfrage@solar-guide.ch.
